Concert: Cancelled – rescheduled for Fall 2021

Due to factors relating to the pandemic, this week’s Juilliard String Quartet concert has been postponed until Fall 2021. The ticket you have already purchased will be good for the new concert, whether it is virtual or in-person. Thank you for understanding.

However—December 16th is Beethoven’s birthday and to celebrate the composer whose work we are highlighting all season as part of his 250th anniversary, we invite you to a special two-part event.

FIRST, we invite you to watch a video that includes a recorded conversation between the members of the Juilliard String Quartet, AFCM President Joseph Tolliver, and the composer Jörg Widmann, along with a behind the scenes look at the Quartet’s rehearsals and short performances of works by Beethoven and Widmann.
