Garrick Woods comes from a family of professional musicians. While cello remains his primary instrument, he studied trombone, voice, bass, and conducting. His BA and MA are from the U of A and he received a DMA from the University of Utah in 2016.
Pianist Rex Woods is a Professor of Music at the Fred Fox School of Music at the U of A and is best known to regional audiences for his frequent artistic performances as both a soloist and chamber musician. He is a member of The Bruch Trio and received his musical education at Brigham Young, the U of A, USC, and the American Conservatory at Fontainebleau.
