Dover Quartet Carnegie Hall Debut

The spellbinding Dover Quartet, already considered one of the great young quartets, passed another milestone last Friday with their extraordinary Carnegie Hall debut. Performing to a sold-out audience, the Dover filled the hall with stunning interpretations of three of the anchors of the string quartet literature, Dvorak’s “American” Quartet, Berg’s Op. 3 string quartet, and Beethoven’s first Razumovsky quartet, the Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1. Their assured performance left no doubt that the Quartet will make an indelible mark.

The Dover Quartet catapulted to international stardom following a stunning sweep of the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition, becoming one of the most in-demand ensembles in the world.
