Armenian-born, Russian-trained clarinetist Narek Arutyunian is an artist, according to the Washington Post, who “reaches passionate depths with seemingly effortless technical prowess and beguiling sensitivity.” He is a first-prize winner of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. Juilliard-trained American pianist Steven Beck has decades of experience as a soloist and chamber musician, and frequently performs (as a musician) with the Mark Morris Dance Group.
