Ellen Taaffe Zwilich on Jean-Paul Bierny and sax

Ellen Taaffe Zwilich dedicated her Quintet for Alto Saxophone and String Quartet to Jean-Paul Bierny, who suggested the medium and was one of the commission’s co-sponsors. Watching her video we can all learn why and how Jean-Paul so richly deserves the CMA Acclaim award.
