Arizona Friends of Chamber Music is a nonprofit organization presenting the world's finest chamber music. The Evening Series of concerts are generally on Wednesdays at 8PM. Piano and Friends matinee concerts are on Sundays at 3PM. The Festival is a series of five concerts and other events the first week of March, including free open rehearsals, a gala dinner with wonderful music by Festival musicians, a youth concert and master classes.
A brief description of AFCM can be found here. Please take this opportunity to learn more about our education and community outreach efforts.
AFCM has created the Commissioner’s Circle for our audience members who wish to sponsor new chamber works with us. No other music society in the country or indeed globally has such an active audience supported commissioning program!
New! We have now created an exciting and unique online resource, where one can listen to complete performances of our more than 40 commissions, as well as find out much more about the composers and their works. Please join us in supporting and celebrating contemporary chamber music here.
New! AFCM Calendar of Events This is a Google calendar; one can sync this with your own Google calendar, or with Outlook or iCal.
New! AFCM's Wikipedia page can be found here, and MySpace page here.
This is chamber music at its best. Intimate, intense, warm or challenging, contemporary or classic - we know you'll enjoy each concert.
