William Purvis

A widely experienced horn soloist who has performed with groups as diverse as the New York Woodwind Quintet, Speculum Musicae and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, William Purvis is not only a fine instrumentalist, but an instrumental guardian: He is director of the musical collection at Yale’s school of music. He last performed for AFCM in the 2005 festival.
