Jupiter Quartet

This quartet in residence at the University of Illinois at Champaign- Urbana is literally a tightly knit family: The cellist is married to the second violinist, who is the older sister of the violist. The multiple award-winning ensemble chose its name because Jupiter was the most prominent planet in the night sky at the time of its formation, and its astrological symbol resembles the number four. It performed for AFCM in 2012.
