Benjamin Kamins


Since entering the world of professional music in 1972, bassoonist Benjamin Kamins has enjoyed a wide-ranging career, including nine years as Associate Principal Bassoon with the Minnesota Orchestra, membership in the Aurora Wind Quintet, and more than 20 years as Principal Bassoon of the Houston Symphony. Still residing in Houston, he teaches at Rice University’s Shepherd School.
